Wow — what an incredible week we’ve had at Vacation Bible School! More than 50 kids filled our church with energy, laughter and curiosity as they explored God's Word through hands-on science projects, fun activities and unforgettable lessons.
This year’s theme, powered by True North, pointed us all to Christ as our ultimate guide, and the children really took that message to heart. It was a joy to see the kids so full of faith, and I was blessed to watch them grow in Christ. I am so thankful for every parent, volunteer, donor and supporter who helped bring the week to life. You were the hands and feet of Jesus, and it showed.
On Wednesday, during our closing time on campus, I had the incredible privilege of sitting down with the children to talk about the most important decision anyone can make asking Jesus into their hearts. We spoke about salvation, what it means to be forgiven, and how much Jesus loves them. I asked if they had ever accepted Jesus as their Savior, and I gave them the opportunity to do so right then and there.
What a joy it was to see their hearts open, their hands raised, and their voices lifted in worship and praise! To witness our kids not only learning about Jesus but responding to His love — that’s why we do VBS.
Vacation Bible School was such an incredible week, and now it’s time to reflect. I’ve placed a VBS Review at the fireplace area for you to fill out. Please take a moment to stop by, look it over, and most importantly I want to hear from you. Whether you volunteered, had a child attend, or just stopped in to see the fun, your thoughts and ideas matter.
Let’s celebrate what God has done — and make next year even better together. I am already dreaming about how to raise the bar. If you have ideas, feedback or want to get involved early, let us know! Great things are ahead.
