From time to time, I get encouraging testimonies from church members. Here’s one I wanted to share with you from a young man who I had the privilege of praying with to receive Christ as his Lord and Savior.
This Sunday we have the rare privilege to worship together in one special worship service at 10 a.m. I hope you will be sure to be present if you are in Enid. This is our annual stewardship Sunday. We will worship together with both our choir and our band, celebrate Holy Communion together, and make our commitments to the Lord Jesus through Willow View for the new year. It looks like I’ll have the privilege of baptizing a young man and welcoming some folks into membership, too!
At the close of our service, we will bring our commitment cards to the altar as an act of worship. Please prayerfully bring your 2026 commitment card with you. Though the Global Methodist Church recognizes only two sacraments officially –baptism and Holy Communion – I believe our commitment to give back to the Lord the first portion of our income is a “sacrament,” too. What is a sacrament? It’s a “sacred moment.” After worship, we’ll gather for our Thanksgiving meal together in our Family Life Center. Be sure to be here this Sunday and remember to bring your Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes with you, too, as we share the gospel with children around the world!
Love you,
Pastor Mark
We will decorate our church for Christmas after lunch with our Discipleship Communities taking the lead. Advent begins next Sunday, Nov. 30. Free Advent devotionals will be available this Sunday. Blessings!

Hello, I just wanted to shoot you a quick E-mail. I have been extremely busy lately. I know I have not had much time to reply to your emails, and I did not want you to think that I had forgotten you. Actually, to be honest, God has been very gracious to my wife and I in the last few months. There were a few rough spots where were both were working long hours and things seemed kind of stressful, but during those times I asked the Lord to keep me strong. I kept up what we talked about during our session, and I tell you what…
The Lord loves a cheerful giver …
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
These two things have blessed me personally. I can testify that this month at first I felt like maybe the tithing was too much for us … that we needed money for bills. In a revelation I remembered that the Lord loves a cheerful giver, and that it was not in my hands. I gave what we had committed to give, and the VERY NEXT DAY we were financially blessed with enough to cover the bills. Praise God.
Our situation has been rough the last few months, but I have never disbelieved that we could not do it. I have never disbelieved that Christ was giving us both strength. In the last week, some opportunities have arisen that make things simpler and better. Life just … got easier. The future is bright, and I really enjoyed church last Sunday.
God is good! When we practice the principles in His Holy Word, we will be blessed! The Lord loves a cheerful giver …
