Thank You, Bishop Greenway

By Pastor Mark McAdow
Our Willow View staff is in Dallas today for the Renew Right Now Media Conference. We’ll be home tomorrow night, so I wanted to share this letter from our outgoing bishop with you here.

Though most of you did not have the privilege of knowing Bishop Jeff Greenway personally due to his busy schedule and oversight of several conferences here and overseas, I was blessed to know him. He and I attended Asbury Theological Seminary together in the 80’s (1980’s not 1880’s!). I knew then he would become a great leader in our denomination. We both served the United Methodist Church faithfully for nearly 40 years before our consciences required us to surrender our credentials and faithfully become Global Methodist pastors.

Bishop Greenway retired officially on Sunday, and here’s his letter to us all:

I am so very thankful to have known and served with Bishop Greenway in the Heartland Conference and I am excited about our new bishop, too! She is a remarkable leader and preacher. I trust you will be blessed by Dr. Carolyn Moore as well. It’s a joy to serve with genuine Christian leaders in our Global Methodist Church!

Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday.

Love you,
Pastor Mark

As I mentioned Sunday, we had a great Fall Festival! Thanks again to Mandie and a wonderful team of Willow View volunteers for your service to the Lord and our Enid kids and families.
