Welcome Home

By Pastor Mark McAdow
Our Willow View front door floor mat greets you each time you come through the door with the phrase “Welcome Home.” It always feels good to be back home!

Have you noticed the new mat on the way out? It reads “You Are Loved” to remind you it’s true. “I have loved you with an everlasting love”- Jeremiah 31:3.

We had another great Sunday last week. So glad so many of you were here to “Praise the Lord!” with us once again. In fact, it was the greatest attendance for both our services since Easter! We’ve had some new guests, so be sure to always greet our guests warmly with a smile – warm greetings are easy to do on these hot August days! It looks like God is up to something new at Willow View.

I’m reminded of the scripture in Hebrews 10:23-25, “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”  What day? The Day of Christ’s return! We’re one day closer.

Looking forward to worshipping our Lord with you again this Sunday morning. Are you praising the Lord more these days? I sure hope so! He deserves it and we are blessed by it.

Love you,
Pastor Mark

PS: We have a youth parents meeting this Wednesday evening, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. in the Parlor. Hope you can come. Ryan Nall and I took some of our high school youth to the Okeene Global Methodist Church last evening for a Night of Praise. It was a blessing!
