Everyone needs a place to belong. The Lord created us for a life-giving relationship with Him and one another in The Body of Christ! Our current marquee reads, “Need a Church Family? We’d love to be yours!” That’s true for those who drive by “Willow View on Purdue” every day and those who arrive in our parking lot on Sunday morning, too! It’s one thing to attend and another to “belong.”
On Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, we’re hosting our fall Willow View Welcome lunch at 12:15 p.m. It’s an opportunity to enjoy a great home-cooked meal by our Congregational Care Team and hear from Mandie and me about our Willow View Church family. We’ll share a meal, answer any questions you might have, and review the membership process here at Willow View. It’s painless and hopefully helpful and maybe even inspiring! God is always up to something new at Willow View, and we want you to “join Him and us in what He is doing.”
Do you need a church family? We’d love to be yours! Are you an active participant at Willow View? If so, I hope you’ll take the next step and become an official member as many have already done this year. Would you pray for that specific commitment? As you know, I love to say “love is commitment.” Membership at Willow View is a wonderful way to demonstrate true commitment to Jesus and this specific church family.
If God is our Father, we are family and the Father loves to see His family grow! (Our family has increased by one new member just today! Our son Matt and his wife, Allie, had a new baby boy. He came a few weeks early, so we’re thankful and prayerful for his entrance into this world.)
A place to belong. We all need a church family. You know other people who need one, too. Would you prayerfully invite them to come check out Willow View? We’re far from perfect – as you well know – but are pursuing Jesus every day. Love is commitment, and we’re committed to Jesus and one another.
Not a member yet? Call Emily in the church office at 580.234.4899 and sign up for next Sunday’s Willow View Welcome! We’d love to “officially” welcome you and yours to Willow View. "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”- Hebrew 10:23-24.
